Thrilled to finally be able to open our doors and our rolling countryside once again to our guests from Monday 13th July 2020. Can't wait to see you all again! If you want to grab a luxury self-catering barn with private hot tubs in beautiful Mid Wales this summer, we have a few dates available for July, August and September 2020. The barns have been deep cleaned and are all ready for our returning and new guest.

Located off the beaten path in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our barns nestle at the foot of the Gyrn Mountain, with far reaching views over the Welsh Marches. The barns offer a contemporary style within a classic setting, ideal for a family break, catch up with friends or couples wanting a romantic get away. Come to explore the 300 acres of the Plas Moelfre Estate.

Things to do

Plas Moelfre Hall Barn nestles in the Welsh Marches at the foot of the impressive Gyrn Mountain. The 15th century Hall is set in the beautiful Cynllaith Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, and a short drive from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). It is surrounded by lovely countryside, providing walking and cycling trails for all abilities including Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover the Border Market town of Oswestry, lovely Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, Powys and Chirk Castle and Gardens, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
